Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Academy

Further Training for Yoga Teachers 2010

With experienced instructors from the Sivananda Yoga Centres

These intensive further training courses allow yoga teachers to expand theirknowledge and deepen theirown practice. The seminars are especially suited for graduates of the Sivananda Yoga Teachers‘ Training courses. Graduates of other yoga teaching schools are welcome to take part following an individual consultation.

Detailed practice and in-depth instruction of teaching methods are the focus of these seminars. Together, the senior instructors of the Retreat House and the participants tap the source of the classical yoga texts as well as the teaching material from Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnudevananda, and draw on the more than 50 years‘ teaching experience of the Sivananda Yoga Centres in the West.

Insights from modern health sciences support the lessons. The Q&A in detailed correction workshops gives you new ideas for your own teaching practice. The morning and evening meditation sessions strengthen the connection with the inner spiritual energy. Individual talks with the senior instructors of the Retreat House accompany the further training courses.

Besides study and practice, the stay in the charming Alpine environment, the fresh airand clean mountain water reconnect us with the pure energy of the
elements, that source which the Himalayan yogis still tap for inspiration.

The inspiring company of practising yoga teachers makes these seminars an uplifting experience.
